JASN Ichiban Scholarship
Ichiban （一番）, which means "number one," is a scholarship founded to help Japanese Heritage Students and Japanese International Students attending the College of Southern Nevada or University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Its aims are to provide students opportunities to build bridges between the United States and Japan, to promote friendship between the countries, and to make Southern Nevada a better place to live . The scholarship fund consists of monies collected from corporate and individual membership fees and funds raised from our annual friendship golf tournament and other community-oriented fundraising events.
