The Japan America Society of Nevada (JASN) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to enhancing the relationship between the people of Japan and the people of Nevada.

JASN was formed in 1995 in response to the tremendous growth in Las Vegas, both as a tourist destination and a center for global trade. Our members are drawn from the entire Las Vegas community - professionals from all areas of local and national business as well as local, state and federal government agencies.   • Enhancing understanding of Japan, its people, culture, politics and economics in Nevada.
  • Advancing awareness of Nevada in Japan and within the Japanese community abroad.

 ABOUT OUR PRESIDENT

After graduating from the University of Arizona in 1981 with a B.A. in English, Jeff moved to Tokyo, Japan, where he joined the faculty of the Toho University School of Medicine. After obtaining an M.Ed degree from Temple University in Japan, Jeff moved back to the United States and graduated from Cornell Law School in 1997. He served as a clerk to United States Court of Appeals Judge David M. Ebel and since has represented employers on all aspects of labor and employment law. He is currently with Ogletree Deakins. Jeff is married to a Japanese citizen and has two children.
